Hydroelectric Power Plant SCADA Application
Devrekani-Kastamonu 6.9 MW Pelton type single-unit HPP — remote control and monitoring.
Technical Specifications
In 2016, a 6.9 MW Pelton type single-unit hydroelectric power plant was installed in the Devrekani district of Kastamonu. Remote control of the plant in this hard-to-reach area was the most critical requirement.
The SCADA application developed on the inSCADA Platform was designed to be accessible and manageable from anywhere by its users. It was made accessible from anywhere via a fixed-IP internet connection. This allowed the plant to be managed remotely without on-site personnel.
The plant was completely damaged in the 2021 flood disaster and was renovated in 2022. The inSCADA platform enables efficient plant management with SMS, e-mail notifications and weather tracking.

Remote Management
The plant operates unmanned; all control and monitoring is performed remotely.
Grafana Integration
Superior reporting and visualization capabilities were achieved by integrating Grafana with inSCADA.
Lesson from Flood Disaster
During the 2021 flood disaster, no casualties occurred because the plant was running unmanned. It was renovated in 2022.
Mobile Access
Mobile access is also available through the Grafana integration.
